Marion Sp. z o.o. was founded by Waldemar Ostrowski in 1991 in Gdynia. It is a 100% Polish company with vast market experience, qualified staff and the ability to respond to the needs of demanding consumers and foreign counterparties.
April 25, 2014 was a watershed moment for the company, as a modern factory on the outskirts of Gdynia was launched. Production halls, warehouses, laboratories and offices currently cover about 7 thousand m2, and we plan to expand this area. Thanks to these changes, the company, specialising mainly in the production of hair dyes and colouring shampoos, expanded its range of products and became more dynamic. The guarantee of the highest quality of production at every stage is the implementation of GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) standards in the plant. The company has obtained the ISO certificate, which by confirms adapting the production to EU standards.
At the Marion laboratory, our specialists take care of maintaining the standards of manufactured cosmetics, conducting scientific research, control activities and microbiological studies. As a result to such actions Marion products have gained recognition on foreign markets. The excellent combination of quality and price results in steadily growing sales in 34 countries worldwide (e.g. Spain, Portugal, Germany, France, Great Britain, Austria, United Arab Emirates, Palestine, Bulgaria, Greece, Czech Republic, Montenegro, Serbia, Croatia, Malta, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Macedonia, Moldova, Georgia, Hungary, Lithuania, Latvia, the Netherlands, Estonia, Slovakia, Finland, Norway, Luxembourg, Iraq, Slovenia, Kuwait, Ukraine), whereas the company continues to expand its area of operation.
Marion cosmetics are appreciated both by customers and juries granting prestigious awards. In 2018, the MARION DETOX facial cleansing and care line with activated carbon was awarded in the consumer survey "Best Product." It won the silver medal in the category of COSMETICS FOR SPECIAL PURPOSES. In 2016, the company prided itself on, among others, Termoochrona serum, shortlisted as the "Cosmetic of All Time" (award, granted by a chapter of 83 thousand reviewers). There are many such tokens of recognition of a well-run company, such as the 2016 Business Gazelle title for the most dynamically growing company. At the Gutmann Family Business Owners Day meeting in Vienna on 23 October 2015, the company was awarded the title of an Outstanding Family Business from Poland in Central and Eastern Europe. Several hundred leading family businesses from nine Central and Eastern European countries took part in the ranking, including Polish family businesses for the first time.
Marion is also a private label manufacturer. It offers full support and professional service at each stage of product development, from creating the recipe, through production and packaging of cosmetics (professional sachet, ampoule and bottle packaging or blistering).
